We are Happy to Accept Returns for Store Credit!
We understand that you are purchasing a dress from DressGoddess for a special occasion and the dress is very important. Therefore, DressGoddess will gladly accept returns for store credit minus a 10% restocking fee per item.Shipping fees are not refunded or credited. You will be issued a store credit valid for one year after returning the dress provided you follow the simple procedures listed below.
There are a few exceptions. The items below are a Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

All of these above items can not be returned or exchanged.
How to Return a Dress for Store Credit
1.You must contact us within 3 calendar days of receiving your order for a return authorization number. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and use Return Request as your subject line. Your email should include your order number and the reason for returning the dress. You can return the dress for any reason but we like to know if there is a specific problem with any of our merchandise so that we can offer our customers the best shopping experience.
2. After receiving your request we will issue you a Return Authorization number and the address to ship the merchandise to.The Return Authorization number must be clearly printed on the outside of the box or it will be refused when delivery is attempted. The box must be postmarked within 3 business days of receipt of the RA number. Please be sure to use UPS or another reliable shipper and make sure you have the box insured for the appropriate amount.The merchandise must be sent back in its original packaging with all hang tags attached and receipts enclosed.
3. As soon as we receive the dress we will thoroughly inspect that it has not be worn or altered and is free from any damage including smoke or food odors and has all the hang tags.Any items returned without the original tags in place, damaged or altered will not receive credit and will be returned to you. All of our merchandise is thoroughly inspected prior to shipping.
4. After the inspection process is complete we will issue a store credit minus a 10% restocking fee per item. Shipping charges will not be refunded or credited. We will send you a coupon code code to use during checkout as your store credit. Credits are valid for one year.
How to Exchange an Item
If you would like to exchange an item, follow the instructions above and refer to our return policy above. When we receive the returned item and inspect it thoroughly, you will be issued the appropriate store credit within the guidelines of our return policy. We will then email you a coupon code to use as your store credit and you will need to reorder the desired items.
*Please Note: We are unable to guarantee that the size and color you desire will be available when making an exchange. Items sell out quickly and can be on back order for weeks, especially during our busy season – January through May. It can take up to 7 days to process a Return after receiving the item.
There is a 10% restocking fee per item on all returns and exchanges.
Choosing Your Size
Please measure carefully following the instructions on the Size Chart page. There is a link on each product page to the Size Charts.
If you are between sizes, it is best to choose the larger size. A dress can always be taken in but can be difficult if not impossible to let out.

Inspection of Merchandise
All of our merchandise is inspected before it is shipped from our distribution center. It is also inspected by each manufacturer before it is shipped to our facilities.
When we receive your dress from the manufacturer, we inspect that is free from defects and that it is the correct size and color that you ordered. If any defects are found, we arrange for the manufacturer to send a replacement immediately.

All prices are per item. Please note that the day your shipment leaves our facilities is not counted in the total for shipping days. For example: if your order shipped on a Monday and you choose 3 day Air it would arrive on Thursday. Days refer to business days and does not include weekend and holidays.
UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a physical street address.

All international shipments are subject to duties and taxes. Custom and import charges are not included in our shipping charges. The custom and duties due vary by country and region. If the item is out of stock and we need to place an order with the manufacturer we will notify you with the expected ship date.If we are able to ship the dress within a week of your wear date we will process the order immediately.

According to Pennsylvania Tax Law, Sales Tax will be charged to Pennsylvania residents for all appropriate merchandise. This includes long dresses. Sales Tax is collected at the rate of 6.0%.
Pennsylvania residents should refer to the website for the PA Department of Revenue if there are any questions regarding the collection of tax.
Availability changes each day and by the minute. This is especially true during Prom Season (January through June). Please provide us your actual wear date so that we can be certain that your Dress will arrive in time.
Inventories change quickly and we recommend that you do not hesitate to place an order once you have selected your dress.
Of course, if your Dress is not available by your Dress Wear Date, your credit card will not be charged and we will notify you immediately through e-mail. On Business Days (Monday – Friday), this process takes two to three hours while we check inventories at several warehouses. This process can be delayed on the weekends because some manufacturers are not always open.

If your dress is not available we will notify you with any alternatives in size or color. Again, your credit card will not be charged until the selections you make are available.
Dress Wear Date
Dress Wear Date refers to the date that you are wearing the dress you have selected.
It is important to give us the actual date you will wear the dress so that we can be certain that you will receive your dress in order for you to have enough time for alterations that you might need.
We are aware that most dresses will need to be altered slightly. For that reason, any orders that we are unable to ship so that you will receive the dress at least one week before the wear date you provide, will require your authorization to process and your credit card will not be charged until we obtain your authorization.
In the event that this does occur, we will contact you by phone and email to give you the shipping date and offer you the chance to upgrade the shipping or cancel the order.
Any orders that we are able to ship so that you will receive the dress at least one week before the wear date you provided, will be processed immediately and your credit card will be charged.
